About

My name is Kaitlin. I write about girls in their teens and twenties trying to discover who they are.

I was a Pitch Wars 2018 mentee for my contemporary YA, DROWN THE MERMAIDS. Check out my Agent Showcase entry here.

I graduated from Susquehanna University's Writers Institute and earned my MFA in fiction from Chatham University. My MFA thesis was a short story collection about family and coming of age, and the title story "Like Glass" was published in Crack the Spine literary magazine. "Holes To Fill," another story from my thesis, was published by The Passed Note in June 2016. My work has also appeared in The Broadkill Review and HerCampus

Check out my recommendations page for some of my favorite books.

When I’m not writing or reading, I binge-watch Gilmore Girls and The West Wing, order huge coffees at Dunkin Donuts AND Starbucks, and belt Hamilton lyrics in my car.
